money money money money…..MONEY!
I know it’s been pointed out many times that I am in the wrong business, but every now and then it’s great to get a little reminder. Will Muschamp, who is the defensive coach for the UT longhorns is now the highest paid assistant coach in the country raking in nearly a million dollars a season. The raise was a move by Texas who was afraid of losing him to possible head coaching opportunities. The only bad part is that he has to wait it out for the head coaching position at UT, and it doesn’t look like Mack Brown will be retiring anytime soon. Who would want to retire doing something they love, and making a cool three million a year.
Stalker
Finally some good news for Sandra Bullock. The crazy lady who has been stalking her for over the last year has been placed on three years probation. Crazy lady has a name but it is much more appropriate to refer to someone as crazy who tries to run over your husband, screams obscenities at you, and leaves weird shit on your front yard. You would think being a high profile star like Sandra you would have a security gate. Perhaps it’s time to invest in one.
Party Crasher
Dixie Chicks front woman Natalie Maines threw a Halloween party at her home in Los
Angeles and guess who showed up? Go on…..guess. If you guessed George Bush, you are sadly wrong, although that would have been a sight to see. If you guessed Michael Jackson, you must have cheated, but kudos to you anyway. He would have been one of the last people I thought would show up at a Halloween party since he is such a recluse. With Michael Jackson being a popular way to dress up for Halloween how can one be sure it’s the real one. I believe that is why the DJ at the party pulled out the tried, tested and true ‘Thriller Test.’ Only the real Michael could breeze flawlessly through the zombie dance sequence. Why is this news relevant? Well for one, Natalie is a local Austin home owner. And secondly, and quite frankly more importantly, it seemed like a great segue to link to this video that I can’t get enough of, of Mayor Will Wynn doing a portion of the thriller dance.
